1. About VoltaVue
VoltaVue provides remote monitoring and control services for authorized users of supported Sites and connected equipment.
2. Information We Collect
Account and User Identifiers
We process information needed to identify and authenticate authorized operators, including an operator or account identifier and authentication and session-related records. Passwords are verified using stored password verifiers; plaintext passwords are not stored by the VoltaVue Cloud authentication service.
Product Interaction and Security Records
When an authorized operator uses VoltaVue, the service may record operational and security events needed to provide, authorize, and audit the service. These records can include timestamps, operator identifiers, actions performed, Site identifiers, device identifiers, capability identifiers, command identifiers, media session identifiers, authorization outcomes, and command status.
Technical Service Records
Our hosting and service infrastructure may process technical request information, such as network addresses and request details, as necessary to deliver, protect, and troubleshoot the service.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information described above to:
- authenticate authorized users;
- provide application functionality;
- authorize access to Sites and connected devices;
- execute requested monitoring and control operations;
- maintain security and audit records; and
- diagnose operational or security issues where applicable.
4. Tracking and Advertising
VoltaVue does not use collected User ID or Product Interaction data to track users across apps or websites and does not use this information for third-party advertising. VoltaVue does not currently use this information for developer advertising, marketing analytics, or product personalization.
5. Sharing of Information
Information may be processed by service providers and hosting infrastructure as necessary to operate, deliver, maintain, and secure VoltaVue. We do not describe such operational processing as a promise that information is never shared.
6. Data Retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide and secure the service, maintain required operational and security records, and satisfy applicable legal obligations.
7. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information used by VoltaVue. These safeguards include access controls, authenticated sessions, encrypted network connections where supported by the service architecture, and security logging. No method of transmission or storage can guarantee absolute security.
8. User Choices and Requests
To request access to personal information, request a correction, request deletion where applicable, or ask a privacy question, contact VoltaVue at request@voltavue.com. Availability of a particular request may depend on the information involved and applicable requirements.
9. Children
VoltaVue is not intended for children.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date shown at the top of this page.
